Descaling your coffee machine

Temperature changes and mineral-rich water can lead to faster limescale buildup, affecting taste and performance. We recommend using Gleam every 2 months or after 240 capsules, whichever comes first. It’s a simple way to keep your brews tasting good and your machine in top shape.

How to use Gleam descaling tablets

  1. Put a 1L bowl under the spout to catch the cleaning fluid. Make sure there is no capsule in the machine.
  2. Fill the water tower, drop in a Gleam tablet, let it dissolve
  3. Hold both buttons for 5 sec (turns on descaling mode)
  4. Press the Lugo button to run the cleaning solution through
  5. Run fresh water to flush out the cleaning solution
  6. Repeat until the water is clear. All set. Pour a fresh cuppa and enjoy a clean coffee machine.
